CRANE VENTURI TUBES

Crane fabricated Venturi tubes are ideally suited for flow measurement of almost all liquids and gases, including liquids with suspended solids and gases with entrained liquids. The Venturi tubes are outstanding at measuring high or low volumes at high or low pressures /temperatures, but the primary usage is in low static line pressure applications where high pressure recovery is necessary. Crane Venturi tubes are manufactured to meet or exceed ASME requirements and are designed to provide highly accurate flow measurement with a low permanent pressure loss (typically 10 % with a Beta ratio of .7).

Classical style venturis are available in a wide range of sizes and feature a lightweight construction which is more durable than cast or forged Venturi tubes. Standard materials include carbon steel, chrom-moly, 304 and 316 stainless steels; other materials are available upon request.

Crane low loss Venturi tubes are ideally suited for flow measurement of almost all liquids and gases, including liquids with suspended solids, gases with entrained liquids, chemical solutions, slurries, steam and air. The Venturi tubes provide highly accurate measurement with low permanent pressure loss (typically 3 % with a Beta ratio of .75) of high or low volumes at high or low pressures /temperatures.

Crane Venturi tubes are manufactured to meet or exceed ASME requirements and are available in a wide range of sizes. All venturis feature a lightweight construction which is more durable than cast or forged Venturi tubes. Standard materials include carbon steel, chrom-moly, 304 and 316 stainless steels; other materials are available upon request.
