Crane Manufacturing offers a full range of handle type ring-joint orifice plate holders. Type 560 plate holders are of one-piece construction and type 580 and 590 plate holders are fitted with type 500 universal orifice plates; all types are used with ring-joint orifice flanges.

Type 560 Integral Plate Seal
Type 560 plate holders with integral plate seal feature one-piece seal construction and are available in all sizes; 1/8" plates are standard on line sizes 1/2" through 8" and 1/4" plates are standard on line sizes 10" through 14". 3/8" plates are standard on line sizes 16" through 24".

Type 580 With Snap-Ring Clip
Type 580 plate holders with snap-ring clip are available in line sizes from 1 " and up. The snap ring is constructed of stainless steel material and is designed to securely clamp the orifice plate in position.

Type 590 With Hold-Down Screws
Type 590 plate holders with hold-down screws are designed with a gasket between the plate and holder. All Type 590 plate holders are available in line sizes from R-24 2 " and up (except R-26 2-1 / 2 ").

All Crane plate holders are available in 304 and 316 stainless steel; other materials are available upon request for all sizes. Crane type 580 and 590 orifice plate holders are sold without orifice plates. Type 560 orifice plate holders are sold blank; boring is available upon request. Orifice plates are sold separately for Type 580 and 590 and are available through Crane Manufacturing.
